LEESON Hazardous Location Motor

These hazardous location DC motors are rated as Class I, Division 2, Groups C and D for use in atmospheres with a high presence of substances such as ethylene, gasoline, and ethanol, and they are rated Class II, Division 2, Groups F and G for use in areas where dust from materials such as coal, grain, and flour may be present. These motors have sturdy enclosures with thick walls and long flanges where the end bells and the frame meet. They have field wiring that must be completed in a separate or attached wiring compartment that has the same hazardous location class and group standards as the motor.
